That’s not boxing. That’s aerobics with gloves on.
You want to learn the real thing. Real technique. Real sparring. A real coach who has actually been in the ring. And a community of men who push each other — not a room full of strangers who never make eye contact.
Dragon Foundations is your entry into authentic combat sport training at Footscray’s only dedicated boxing and Muay Thai gym.
Here’s how it works:
Dragon Assessment: A one-off onboarding session with Paul. Fitness benchmarking (push-ups, skipping, body composition, blood pressure) plus an introduction to basic self-defence technique. You find out exactly where you stand.
Unlimited Classes: Monday & Wednesday — Bag Fitness (boxing fitness, kettlebells, pad work, functional training). Tuesday & Thursday — Sparring & Technique (controlled sparring, drills, skill development).
Dragon Standards Tracking: Re-tested every 12 weeks. Measurable progress across skipping, push-ups, bag rounds, sparring endurance, and body composition.
A Coach Who’s Done It: Paul “The Dragon” Le is a former K-1 professional fighter with 35+ years of experience. Not a franchise. Not a rotating roster. One coach, one gym, real training.

Find out where you stand. Book your Dragon Assessment.
Zero experience required. Dragon Foundations is designed for complete beginners. Paul will assess your fitness on day one and ensure you’re placed at the right level.
Not until you’re ready. Monday and Wednesday classes are bag-based fitness — no contact. Sparring is introduced gradually on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and only when Paul says you’re ready. Body sparring comes first. Head sparring comes much later.
Gym clothes, a towel, and water. Gloves and wraps are available at the gym if you don’t have your own. Shoes optional — many members train barefoot for Muay Thai.
Your Dragon Assessment is your trial. It’s a full onboarding session where you get benchmarked, learn the basics, and experience what training at Dragon actually feels like. After that, you decide.
